Lo-Fi (lofistore.com.au) respects your privacy and handles your personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you shop with us or sign up to our mailing list, we collect the information needed to serve you — your name, email, phone number, billing and delivery address, and your order details. Our website also automatically collects standard usage data (such as IP address and pages visited) through cookies.

How we use it

We use your information to process and deliver your orders, handle returns and exchanges, respond to your enquiries, and — only if you've opted in — send you email or SMS updates about new releases and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or SMS, or by contacting us.

Who it's shared with

We never sell your information. It is shared only with the services we need to run the store: Shopify (our website platform), our payment providers (PayPal, Afterpay, Zip, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and credit card processors — we never see or store your full card details), our delivery partners (Australia Post and DHL), Loop Returns (our returns system), and the platforms we use for email/SMS marketing and advertising (including Meta and Google). Some of these services store data overseas, including in the United States.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand how our site is used, and the Meta Pixel and Google Ads to run and measure advertising. You can block cookies in your browser settings and manage ad preferences in your Google and Meta account settings.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it where we're not required to keep it. If you have a privacy concern, contact us and we'll sort it out — and if you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
