Lo-Fi PSA: COVID-19
As much as we were hoping this would all blow over, it’s evident that the threat of the spread of COVID-19 is something we can’t ignore.
Our stores are going to remain open as normal for as long as it is deemed safe to our staff and customers.
We will continue assessing this as more information and advice comes to hand from Authorities.
We want to avoid adding to any unnecessary hysteria. However, we do wish to keep you all informed on a few things we’re doing during this time.
We understand that some of you may not wish to travel into the stores at the moment, either by choice or by circumstance.
So, we’re offering free domestic shipping on all orders over $50 AUD until the end of the month.
We will asses the extension of this offer come the end of the month.
Australia Post has just announced it is continuing to operate as normal. So you can still expect a regular delivery time.
Whilst these measures are not particularly different from how we normally operate. In light of the situation we have made an emphasis on stepping up our vigilance of some of our day to day practices to ensure our customers have a safe and hygienic shopping experience.
• All staff have been instructed to stay home if they are feeling unwell. We encourage you to please do the same.
• Thorough cleaning of the store, eftpos machines, etc multiple times throughout the day.
• Encouraging contactless payment. Please consider using card over cash.
• Please respect the personal space of staff and other customers. Let’s take a rain-check on handshakes for the time being.
Most of our demographic are young, fit and healthy and are the least at risk. However, that is not the case for everyone. The elderly or those with pre-existing health condition are particularly at risk.
Your small steps to help reduce the spread of the virus can make a real difference for the most vulnerable.
Let’s all remember to look out for one another, and not forget about the most vulnerable during this time.
